Lockly Launches Zeno Series: Four Smart Locks Offering Versatile Security Solutions

Lockly has recently introduced the Zeno Series, a collection of four smart locks designed to offer advanced security, convenience, and integration with major smart home ecosystems. This new series includes the Lockly Visage, Vision, Secure Pro, and PIN Genie Pro, each tailored to provide unique features at various price points.

The Zeno Series is characterized by slimmer, more compact designs compared to previous Lockly models, boasting a 35% reduction in form factor. All models in the series are compatible with Apple Home, Google Home, and Amazon Alexa, ensuring seamless integration into most smart home setups.

Additionally, these smart locks are equipped with built-in Wi-Fi, eliminating the need for a separate hub or bridge, which simplifies the setup process and offers remote access and control through Lockly’s mobile app.

A standout feature across the series is Lockly's patented PIN Genie keypad, which randomly shuffles the number arrangement after each use, enhancing security by making it difficult for onlookers to guess the code. Furthermore, all locks in the Zeno series offer support for Apple's Home Key, allowing users to unlock their doors using NFC on their iPhone or Apple Watch, adding an extra layer of convenience for Apple users.

Lockly Vision Zeno Series

Lockly Visage Zeno Series ($349)

The Visage is notable for incorporating binocular facial recognition technology, which combines an onboard camera and radar to detect and memorize up to 100 unique faces. This allows for hands-free unlocking as the lock recognizes authorized users approaching the door.

Additional access methods include a 3D fingerprint scanner, passcodes, and support for Apple Home Keys, making it one of the most versatile smart locks in the Zeno lineup. The Visage’s multi-modal access methods are designed to cater to a wide range of user preferences, ensuring that unlocking options are not only secure but also convenient.

Lockly Vision Zeno Series ($429)

Positioned as a high-end option, the Vision Zeno combines the functionalities of a smart lock and a video doorbell. It features a 2K resolution camera with night vision capabilities, which enhances security by allowing users to see and communicate with visitors in real time through the lock’s built-in intercom system.

Like the Visage, the Vision Zeno supports the PIN Genie keypad, fingerprint recognition, and various digital assistant integrations, making it a comprehensive security solution for homeowners seeking advanced monitoring and access control features.

Lockly Secure Pro Zeno Series

Lockly Secure Pro Zeno Series ($329)

The Secure Pro offers a balanced mix of advanced security features at a mid-range price point. It includes a 3D biometric fingerprint reader that can store up to 99 unique fingerprints, alongside the PIN Genie keypad and support for Apple Home Keys.

This model is aimed at users who prioritize biometric access without the need for more advanced features like facial recognition or video intercom capabilities.

Lockly PIN Genie Pro Zeno Series ($229)

As the entry-level option in the Zeno Series, the PIN Genie Pro focuses on essential functionalities while maintaining smart home compatibility and app-based controls. It lacks the biometric fingerprint reader found in the Secure Pro but includes the PIN Genie keypad and support for Apple Home Keys. This model is ideal for users who seek basic smart lock features without additional complexities.

Lockly PIN Genie Pro Zeno Series

One of the key selling points of the Zeno Series is the ease of installation and integration. Lockly has designed these locks to be backward compatible with previous models, meaning that existing Lockly users can upgrade without needing significant modifications to their doors. Settings from older devices can also be transferred to the new Zeno locks, simplifying the transition process for those familiar with Lockly’s ecosystem.

In the event of internet outages, all Zeno locks support offline access codes, allowing users to grant temporary access without relying on a stable internet connection. Additionally, each lock comes with a physical backup key, ensuring that users are never locked out of their homes.

The entire Zeno Series is available for purchase from Lockly’s official website and major retailers like Home Depot.
