The M-GO app is available on a variety of smart devices, although its Ultra HD content is currently only accessible on select Samsung UHD TVs.

From DTS
DTS, Inc., a leader in high-definition audio enhancement technologies, and M-GO, the premium digital video on demand (VOD) service and joint venture between Technicolor and DreamWorks Animation, have announced an agreement for DTS to provide its DTS-HD multi-channel surround sound as part of M-GO's exceptional consumer experience.

"M-GO is a leader in premium quality video streaming, and we are proud they have selected DTS as their audio partner," said Geir Skaaden, senior vice president, corporate business development, digital content and media solutions at DTS, Inc. "By combining DTS-HD audio technology with HD and UHD video, consumers will have the best of all worlds in streaming video entertainment."

The DTS-HD premium audio encoding solution will be deployed in stages across all M-GO compatible devices throughout the coming months. Future applications will mark M-GO as the first streaming service to offer DTS Headphone:X, a full surround sound experience through any set of headphones, allowing consumers to experience sound exactly as it was recorded.

"As a pioneer in 4K Ultra HD content distribution, M-GO recognizes that audio quality is as important to the in-home entertainment experience as picture quality," said M-GO senior vice president of product, Arnaud Retureau. "Our partnership with DTS presents a perfect collaboration given their highly respected history of audio innovation and our continued efforts to enhance users premium viewing experience with unparalleled audio."

In addition to its constantly growing library of more than 30,000 titles available to own, rent, stream or download, the M-GO 4K UHD library currently features more than 100 movies and TV shows exclusively on Samsung's line of award-winning UHD TVs. By combining UHD video with integrated DTS-HD audio, M-GO consumers with Samsung UHD TVs can enjoy an immersive, cinema-like experience in their home.
