AV7005 Preamplifier

The AV7005 features 6 HDMI 1.4(3D/Audio Return Channel) inputs, with 2 HDMI outputs, all ready for 3D. A front panel HDMI input allows for connectivity of camcorders and video game sources. The AV7005 includes full HD audio processing with Pro-Logic IIz, as well as Audyssey MultiEQ XT and Audyssey DSX room EQ processing for system setup. The AV7005 is fully DNLA 1.5 compliant, allowing integration into home networks, and incorporates a built-in Internet radio, with streaming of music sources such as Napster, Rhapsody, and Pandora as well as photo playback and streaming via Flickr.

New Power Amplifiers

Like the AV7005, both the new MM7055 5-channel and MM7025 Power Amplifiers feature designs that complement the aesthetics of other Marantz separates. The MM7055 features a Discrete Current Feedback Amplifier 140W (8ohms x5), with balanced input terminals for 5 channels. It can be connected to the AV7005 via XLR, providing 140 watts per channel. An MM7025 2-channel power amplifier will be available to add 7-channel capability, or provide a power upgrade to existing AVR-based systems.

Noted Kevin Zarow, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Marantz America: "Marantz has long been respected for the unmatched quality of our audio/video seperates, and we are contuining this tradition with our new AV7005, MM7055 and MM7025. Each of these components is designed to work in complete harmony in a high-performance home entertainment system. Most importantly, our new seperates give discriminating consumers and custom integrators powerful new tools for creating customized systems that meet or exceed the demands of consumers who expect the best."
