NAD and sister company Bluesound have joined the growing list of audiophile companies to integrate support for the Roon music management software into select products. Roon is an advanced music server platform that provides in-depth info about your music--including photos, bios, reviews, lyrics, concert dates, and more--in a beautiful interface. NAD and Bluesound have yet to announce which specific products will integrate Roon, but the update is expected before year's end.
From NAD
NAD Electronics and Bluesound announced that they will become a Roon Ready Partner. The integration as a Roon Ready Partner will provide subscribers of Roon's intuitive, information-rich music library management software the ability to connect to BluOS-enabled devices from NAD and Bluesound. The integration is expected to be live before the end of 2016.
By analyzing a music collection, Roon allows users to explore the connections between the artists, composers, performers, producers, who created the music they love most, providing valuable insights and helps them to discover new music they'll love. In combination with NAD and Bluesound's affordable audiophile hardware, true music lovers will be able to stream high resolution music throughout the home, to one or many speakers simultaneously or individually.
"We are proud to partner with Roon, as it's an integration that has been widely requested across all of our channels," said Greg Stidsen, Director of Technology and Product Development for Lenbrook. "It's a partnership that reinforces NAD's and Bluesound's commitment to expanding the richness of networked and high-resolution audio and music experiences our users and fans desire."
