Founded in 1972 in London, England, New Acoustic Dimension, or NAD, is now located in Ontario, Canada. NAD brought a refreshing "dimension" to high-end audio with its affordable, high performance electronics and source components featuring simplistic operation complemented by an elegant, minimalist cosmetic approach.

NAD's most notable product is the NAD 3020 amplifier, which was released in the late-1970s to great popularity in Britain.
