03Home automation company Crestron just opened a new Experience Center in Dallas, Texas. Crestron has been one of the leaders in home automation for some time, and their technology extends far beyond simple dimmers and motorized curtains for the home theater environment. At the Experience Center (one of several) potential customers can be immersed in a fully automated environment in order to get the best understanding of how home automation works.

From Creston
Crestron celebrated the opening of its new Experience Center in Flower Mound, TX last week with more than 150 guests that included Crestron dealers, consultants, architects, builders, interior designers, lighting designers and specifiers, electrical contractors, vendor partners, media, and local government officials.

The Southwest Texas location adds another showcase facility to the lineup of nationwide Crestron Experience Centers and Design Showrooms. Crestron Experience Centers are the ideal setting for customers, dealers, designers, and architects to experience cutting-edge Crestron technology in a fully immersive environment.

To fully appreciate commercial building control and home automation you have to see it for yourself. The new Experience Center offers guests an up close and personal behind-the-scenes look at the hottest control technology solutions on the market. The grand opening featured group tours of the 3,000+ square foot facility, product demonstrations, and an official ribbon cutting ceremony presided over by Crestron Executive Vice President, Randy Klein and Flower Mound Deputy Mayor Pro Tem, Bryan Webb.

"Our state-of-the-art Dallas Experience Center provides our customers with a space to bring guests to learn more about Crestron technology and what is possible today, to see everything working in real-world settings, and to speak with our experts who can support their projects every step of the way," said Jerrie Anderson, Crestron Executive Director. "We are committed to supporting our customers in the Southwest region and this showcase facility is a great example of that commitment."

Following the ceremony, guests received guided tours of the new experience center, which included demonstrations of the latest Crestron innovations such as wireless conferencing solution AirMedia™, which enables BYOD, groundbreaking video conference and collaboration solution, Crestron RL™, TSW touch screens featuring Smart Graphics™, and the extensive line of DigitalMedia™ products, including switchers supporting 4K.

Crestron Experience Centers and Design Showrooms are located in NJ at the Rockleigh world headquarters, and in New York City, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Phoenix, and Cypress, CA. Globally, Crestron operates Experience Centers and Design Showrooms in London, Frankfurt, Shanghai, and Beijing.
