Stealth-LRX-83.jpgAt the upcoming CEDIA Expo, Stealth Acoustics will debut a new three-way “invisible” architectural speaker. The LRx83 combines a 25mm tweeter, a 30mm midrange device, and an eight-inch high-power cone woofer, and the company says it offers bass response down to 40 Hz. The new LRx line also includes the updated LRG-B30g subwoofer with dual eight-inch woofers. Pricing has not yet been announced.

Pioneers of invisible speaker technology, Stealth Acoustics, will showcase its new 8″ 3-way totally invisible architectural speaker at CEDIA 2017.

Producing a deep, warm and natural bass response down to 40 Hz, with a smooth midrange and solid upper frequency, the LRx83 is balanced, powerful and the highest quality invisible speaker ever created by Stealth, the only industry award winner in the category. It incorporates a 30mm midrange device, a 25mm tweeter and an 8″ high-power cone woofer. In addition to its premium audio performance, the LRx38 is also straightforward to install, featuring the same dimensions as Stealth’s LR8g and so fits neatly into any LR8 back box accessory.

“There’s a good reason we are naming this new speaker the LRx83,” says Steve Olszewski, Vice President at Stealth Acoustics. “The ‘X’ stands for ‘Expert Grade’ and the LRx83 delivers the exceptional performance that integrators want in their important residential, corporate or public space projects. This 8″ 3-way speaker sets a new level of price and performance in the invisible speaker arena and is our best sounding speaker to date.”

The LRx83’s sound quality in the mid and high regions is smooth and ‘silky’ with the solid bass extension providing a rich deepness to rival more expensive, visible architectural speakers. The impressive peak power handling of over 300 watt allows the device to become more than simply a background music speaker. Constant voltage options are available.

This LRx83 addition to the range spearheads a new series of LRx derived products from Stealth. With additional models forthcoming on the LRx roadmap, the new line is now enhanced with the updated LRG-B30g dual 8″ invisible subwoofer, which boasts improved materials, stability and performance. This increases sub-bass extension down to 35 Hz when coupled with the LRx83 (or other Stealth speakers) and builds on its award-winning credentials.
