Noble Audio, a Texas-based company specializing in high-performance in-ear monitors (IEMs), has unveiled its latest innovation, the Falcon Max earbuds. These True Wireless Stereo (TWS) earbuds could represent a significant advancement in TWS technology, thanks to a partnership with xMEMS Labs and a focus on delivering an exceptional audio experience.
Falcon Max's standout feature is its integration of solid-state MEMS-based drivers, developed by xMEMS Labs, a trailblazer in the realm of "Solid-State Fidelity." This partnership potentially brings exceptional sound quality, phase coherence, and treble extension to the Falcon Max, setting new standards for audio performance in TWS earbuds.
One of the most impressive aspects of the Falcon Max earbuds is its driver configuration. It incorporates a hybrid setup, including the xMEMS Cowell for high frequencies and a 10mm high-performance dynamic driver for robust low frequencies. This combination should ensure a high-fidelity, high-resolution audio experience across the entire frequency spectrum, reflecting Noble Audio's effort to deliver exceptional sound.
To further elevate the audio experience, the Falcon Max leverages Qualcomm's latest System-on-Chip (SoC), the QCC5171 (Qualcomm S5 Sound Platform). This advanced technology not only doubles computing performance but also reduces power consumption by an impressive 20% when compared to previous models.
The Falcon Max earbuds set a new benchmark as the first Noble Audio product to embrace Bluetooth 5.3 and support the LDAC high-resolution wireless audio codec. Additionally, it is compatible with Snapdragon Sound, SBC, AAC, aptX adaptive (24bit/96kHz, Lossless), and LC3 (for LE-Audio). Noble Audio is also in the process of acquiring high-resolution wireless certification for the Falcon Max.
Beyond its drivers, the Falcon Max offers several features designed to enhance the user experience. These include:
The Falcon Max earbuds are scheduled to begin shipping on December 18, 2023, with an expected retail price of $270.
