Olive servers are an audiophile grade yet somewhat affordable music server. Their their industrial design is unique and attractive.

Founded in 2005 by Dr. Oliver Bergmann and Robert Altmann, Olive felt that technology should be able to improve the music experience, not hinder it.

The most notable Olive product is the 04HD, a 2 terabyte music server with a 4.3" touch screen and Burr-Brown PCM1792A 24-bit/192kHz DACs. The 06HD is the audiophile upgrade, with balanced dual PCM1792A DACs, and a separate PCM1792A and TPA6120A2 headphone amp. On top is a 10.1-inch touchscreen accessing the 2 terabytes of storage.
