PlanterSpeakers-Metropolitan.jpgPlanterSpeakers has introduced a new outdoor speaker model. The Metropolitan combines a one-inch soft dome tweeter, four-inch midrange driver, and 10-inch down-firing woofer in a marine-grade, waterproof planter. The legs are made of teak wood, and the planter itself can be custom-painted in any color. Pricing of the Metropolitan starts at $2,899/pair.

From PlanterSpeakers
PlanterSpeakers.com has announced the launch of its new Metropolitan model featuring a sleek and modern design, marine-grade waterproof shell, 8" of planting depth and Smart Pot USA drainage bags. Pictured in white, the Metropolitan can be delivered in any custom color.

Placing PlanterSpeakers on patios and decks, in the garden and around the pool brings the highest quality audio under the sun to luxury outdoor environments. These weatherproof speakers deliver deep rich sound--crisp highs, luxurious mid frequencies and thick and thumping bass, worthy of an audiophile's indoor setup. Best of all, the speakers in PlanterSpeakers are invisible, housed within the backyard's furniture, flora and fauna.

The Metropolitan can be fitted with 90° or 180° projection. With braced construction and teak legs that won't absorb water, its three-way speaker system features a 1" soft dome tweeter, a 4" midrange, and a down-firing 10" HD woofer. A pair of Metropolitan planter speakers can cover an area of up to 500 sq. ft.
