ReQuest_IphoneControl.gifReQuest has introduced a touch screen controller so convenient, their customers probably already have the hardware in their pockets - the iPhone / iPod Touch ReQuest application.

ReQuest's iPhone store application puts control of the popular F, N and S.Series entertainment servers into a format that users will already be familiar with. This completely native application allows iPhone owners to quickly find their favorite artist, album, song, or custom playlist using the same list-style browser found elsewhere on the iPhone.

Using the iPhone's multi-touch screen, listeners can sort through their Now Playing list, dragging and dropping songs into any order they like on the fly.

This interface connects easily to the ReQuest system through the home wi-fi or through the iPhone's actual 3G wireless network, allowing system owners to quite literally control their system from anywhere.

The ReQuest iPhone / iPod Touch application is available as a free pre-release today in the iTunes App store. Control for the iQ system and many other enhancements are planned for Q2 2009.
