Roku has officially unveiled its highly anticipated Roku Pro Series TVs, marking a significant leap forward in home entertainment technology. These new models come packed with features designed to appeal to both casual viewers and enthusiasts alike, marking a significant step forward for the company's television offerings.

Announced at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the Roku Pro Series TVs have now hit the market, bringing forth a blend of innovation and affordability. Emphasizing simplicity and ease of use, these televisions aim to cater to the modern consumer's desire for seamless entertainment experiences.

“We’ve invested years in making the picture great for the shows and movies you’re watching — and now we’ve added the simplicity of automation,” Chris Larson, vice president of retail strategy for Roku, said in a press release. 

“Our Pro Series TVs not only look and sound beautiful; they also give our customers the best possible viewing experience, no matter what they’re watching.”

One of the key highlights of the Roku Pro Series is the integration of Mini-LED panels, a technology that promises improved contrast and vibrant colors. With Mini-LED backlighting and QLED screens, these TVs offer a visual experience that rivals more expensive OLED displays. Furthermore, the inclusion of HDR10+ and Dolby Vision IQ ensures impressive brightness and dynamic range, adapting to various lighting conditions for optimal viewing.

Among the notable enhancements is the introduction of Roku Smart Picture, a feature that automatically adjusts picture settings based on the content being displayed. This intelligent optimization, coupled with a new processor and neural processing unit, promises to deliver cinematic fidelity without the need for manual calibration.

In addition to its visual prowess, the Roku Pro Series TVs boast a range of smart features aimed at enhancing the overall viewing experience. The inclusion of Roku Voice Remote Pro, featuring backlighting and a rechargeable battery, offers convenience and ease of control. 

Moreover, the integration of AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and auto low latency mode caters to gamers, ensuring smooth motion and responsive gameplay.

“We want our platform to be relevant to how you watch TV, whether you purchased a device today or years ago,” Preston Smalley, vice president of viewer product at Roku, said in the press release. 

“With personalized Backdrops to suit your mood, Smart Picture for crystal-clear visuals, and better ways to help decide what to watch, we’re setting a new standard for streaming excellence. This is the future of TV, tailored just for you by Roku.”

Building upon the success of its predecessors, the Roku Pro Series introduces Backdrops, a feature reminiscent of Samsung's The Frame, allowing users to display artwork when the TV is idle. This curated collection of art, combined with the ability to upload custom images, adds a touch of sophistication to any living space.

Despite its premium features, the Roku Pro Series remains accessible to a wide range of consumers. Available in 55-inch, 65-inch, and 75-inch models, with prices starting at $899.99, these TVs offer exceptional value compared to competitors in the high-end TV market. The Roku Pro Series TVs are now available for purchase at major retailers such as Best Buy, Amazon, and Walmart.
