Sanus announces it is now shipping the VisionMount VMA202 soundbar speaker mount, which directly attaches to new VisionMount television mounts for a no-drill speaker mounting solution.

The VMA202 claims easy installation as it requires no additional drilling. The mount also comes with ProSet height and level adjustments for vertical and horizontal correction when positioning the speaker. The new model also features a universal design to fits all different makes and models of soundbars, as well as center channel speakers. The VMA202 can support speakers weighing up to 35lbs.

The VMA202 soundbar speaker mount is available for $89.99.

Sanus is also currently shipping the Sanus Elements ELM701 Anti-Tip strap. The ELM701 is a durable, shock-resistant strap with a four-point connection - twice to the back of the television, once to the back of furniture, and once to the wall.

A 2009 study by Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio reported nearly 17,000 children were admitted to emergency rooms in 2007 (the last year complete figures were available) when furniture or televisions had fallen on them. This is a 41 percent increase since 1990. The study attributed the increase to the popularity of large flat-panel televisions and unstable furniture. None of the televisions or furniture they were placed on were properly secured.

The ELM701 works with nearly all furniture and flat panel televisions up to 60 inches. The strap is currently available for $24.99.
