Savant Acquires LiteTouch

Savant has added a new addition to the company's offerings by acquiring the lighting control company LiteTouch. LiteTouch will add all of the company's products to Savant, widening the automation options of the company.

Savant_brand_page_logo.gifAccording to TWICE, Savant Systems announced the lighting-control manufacturer LiteTouch.

Savant said the new addition of LiteTouch will add a lighting control platform and an array of keypad options that will complement the company's iOS user interface control applications. They will support an variety of controlled devices, including third-party lighting systems in keeping with Savant's system of automation.

"The acquisition of LiteTouch brings to Savant a comprehensive lighting control system including a broad range of aesthetically pleasing keypad solutions from a respected and recognized supplier," said Savant CEO Robert Madonna in a statement.

"Our sales channel has been asking for a lineup of lighting control and integrated keypad products from Savant that operate in concert with Apple iOS devices to manage and control a vast array of connected home and commercial technologies," he said.

Savant's new lighting control group will continue to operate out of the Salt Lake City area, where LiteTouch is based.
