Scott Schumer is an executive in the consumer electronics, commercial audio, video and the Internet of Things industries who has a passion for custom AV installation, Smart Home Automation, affordable AV equipment and high-performance headphones.
A recovering musician (he can quit anytime he wants, he just doesn't want to), composer and producer across a wide field of musical genres, After completing non-matriculated studies of orchestration, composing and conducting at the Julliard School of Music, Schumer wrote and produced over 50 regional and national jingles, themes for television programs including Caroline's Comedy Hour on the A&E Network, incidental music for As the World Turns, One Light to Live, Another World and The Guiding Light daytime dramas and contributed to scores for Nightmare on Elm Street III. He has been studio manager at Regent Sound Studios (New York City), sales, marketing and product development at Sennheiser / Neumann USA, Harman, Loud Technologies, Blue Microphones and is currently managing North American sales for Peavey Commercial Audio.
