Sherbourn Audio is one of the more established names in custom audio video. Historically, they were based in Boston but in recent years were acquired by online retailer, Emotiva's parent company. Sherbourn is Emotiva's experiment of expanding their offerings of AV preamps, AV receivers and multi-channel amps into the custom installation market. Don't confuse Sherbourne with Emotiva Pro which is more of a pro audio division of the low-cost, Internet retailer's products.�
For years�Sherbourn was a custom installer product but now the products sell direct to the customer as nearly unbelievable discounts. $1,500 products for $399. Clearance prices via e-commerce. This is a major change to their business model and sales model.�
