The Luma system offers live video streaming and can be integrated with control systems from Control4, Crestron, ELAN g!, and URC. There's also a free iOS/Android app that allows the end user to see live camera feeds and play back or export recordings.

From SnapAV
SnapAV has announced the launch of Luma, a new line of surveillance products designed with the needs of both the integrator and end user in mind. Offering both analog and IP surveillance products, Luma's smart design provides high definition equipment that's reliable, easy to install, and simple to use.

"When developing the Luma product line, we listened to feedback from our customers and focused on making things easier for both integrators and the end users," said Alex Patrao, Category Manager for Surveillance at SnapAV. "Our newly engineered NVR and DVR user interface, shared between both recorders, is the most intuitive on the market."

Luma NVRs feature a built-in Power over Ethernet (PoE) switch on all ports, plus "plug & play" capabilities with existing Wirepath IP cameras, eliminating the need for a separate power source or dedicated network switch. "That means one less box in the rack, easier setup, and less cost," Patrao added.

Both Luma NVRs and DVRs pair perfectly with OvrC, a professional cloud-based solution that enables the integrator to remotely manage devices in the field and provide focused customer care. The system provides simplified maintenance of the end user's system information--including home addresses, port-forwarding addresses, DDNS names, devices by location, and much more. Integrators will receive real-time notifications to conveniently correct issues and perform firmware updates with a single tap or swipe.

Luma boasts live video streaming and integration with control systems such as Control4, Crestron, ELAN g!, and URC, with more coming in the future. In addition, Luma offers a free app for iOS and Android mobile devices that allows the end user to see live camera feeds and play back or export recordings through a sleek, intuitive interface.

Luma DVRs feature ultra-sharp 1080p resolution using HD-TVI technology. Luma DVRs work seamlessly with Luma and Wirepath Surveillance cameras, including the newly released Luma 600-series analog cameras, and are also backward compatible with all traditional analog cameras up to 960H.

Luma DVRs and NVRs are available in 4, 8, and 16 channel models and come equipped with up to 2 TB pre-installed storage.
