SOL Republic

SOL-Republic-brand-page-logo.jpgSOL Republic is a headphone company founded by Scott Hix, Seth Combs, and Kevin Lee. The SOL stands for Soundtrack of Life, meaning that company aims to offer quality headphones that fit the customer's lifestyle - whatever that may be.

If Kevin Lee's last name sounds familiar when it comes to headphones, it should. Kevin Lee is the son of Noel Lee, founder of Monster Cable, which manufacturers the well-known Beats by Dre headphones. Kevin worked at Monster for years, learning about audio gear. He also learned about recordings through his work with Monster's musical releases.

SOL-Republic-brand-page-headphones.jpgSo with that experience and Hix and Combs as partners, Lee struck out to create SOL Republic.
