Tact Audio pioneered the categories of high-end digital amplification and room correction. They are is based in New Mexico and were founded in 1998. Tact Audio produces a sophisticated, high tech line of digital amplifiers, preamplifiers, and surround processors featuring its proprietary, award-winning room correction technology.

Notable Tact Audio products include the Tact TCS Mk III, a surround decoder preamp with 12-channels dynamic room correction. There's also the Tact M/S 2150 XDM, a 150-watt-per-channel integrated amp, with a claimed dynamic range of greater than 130 dB, a signal-to-noise ratio of greater than 110 dB. The Tact T-2 is a 150-watt-per-channel integrated amp that has 90% efficiency, all digital amplification, and a THD+N of less than 0.01%.
