CES 2024 has brought its fair share of technological marvels, and TCL, the renowned TV manufacturer, has not disappointed this year. Among their latest offerings, one standout product that has garnered considerable attention is the TCL QM891G, a massive 115-inch mini-LED TV boasting an astonishing 20,000 local dimming zones and a peak brightness of 5,000 nits.

The flagship model's headline feature is its QD Mini LED Ultimate backlight system, which incorporates a staggering 20,000 local dimming zones, enhancing the TV's ability to display deep blacks and bright highlights with precision. This is a substantial leap from the previous flagship, with TCL emphasizing that it provides more than twice the number of dimming zones compared to its predecessor.

In addition, the TCL QM891G boasts a "High Brightness Ultimate LED" backlight, setting a new industry standard by reaching a peak brightness level more than 2.5 times brighter than any other TV currently available.

With its massive 115-inch display, the TCL QM891G is engineered to transform living rooms into personal movie theaters, aiming to provide an immersive viewing adventure.

The TV is powered by TCL's latest image processor, the AIPQ Ultra Processor, which promises to deliver exceptional picture quality through advanced image processing technologies. Furthermore, the QM891G includes an anti-glare screen coating, which should ensure that it remains watchable under various lighting conditions.

Audio enthusiasts will appreciate the built-in 6.2.2-channel Dolby Atmos speaker system, which enhances the overall audio experience. This comprehensive sound system includes a subwoofer for deep and immersive audio quality.

In addition to the TCL QM891G, the company has unveiled an impressive array of TVs for its 2024 lineup. These include the QM8 series, which features mini-LED technology with up to 5,000 local dimming zones and up to 5,000 nits peak brightness, offering a premium viewing experience in various screen sizes ranging from 75 to 98 inches.

TCL's QM7 series also embraces mini-LED backlighting technology, providing up to 1,500 local dimming zones and peak brightness of 2,400 nits. It is available in screen sizes from 55 to 98 inches.

TCL's regular QLED models for 2024 include the Q6 and Q6 Pro series. The Q6 series, available in screen sizes from 43 to 98 inches, features a new High Brightness Plus LED backlight, delivering 28% more brightness than its predecessors.

On the larger Q6 models, a native 120Hz panel supports Game Accelerator 240 for smoother gaming experiences. The Q6 Pro series enhances the Q6 by adding Full Array Local Dimming (FALD) for improved backlight control, providing a 33% boost in brightness with 600 peak nits. It is available in screen sizes from 50 to 85 inches.

Lastly, TCL's S Class presents the S5, an LED-backlit 4K TV available in screen sizes from 43 to 85 inches. The S5 boasts a High Brightness LED backlight, offering 25% increased brightness and enhanced color. Powered by the TCL AIPQ Processor with AI Super Resolution, it supports HDR PRO+ with Dolby Vision and HDR10+. Additionally, the S5 introduces custom install capability for advanced applications.

While pricing and release dates for these impressive TVs were not disclosed at CES 2024, TCL's track record suggests that they may become available to consumers around May, following previous years' patterns.
