Eufy, the smart home brand under Anker, has officially launched its first touchscreen smart hub: the Smart Display E10. Priced at $199.99 and shipping by the end of June, the E10 is designed to give you a centralized way to keep an eye on your home—if you're already using Eufy’s cameras, doorbells, and other security devices.
At a glance, it looks like an 8-inch tablet. But unlike other smart displays like the Echo Show or Nest Hub, this one is all about home security, and it only plays nice with Eufy products.
The Smart Display E10 isn’t your typical smart screen. You won’t be asking it to play music, stream shows, or tell you the weather. It doesn’t have Alexa or Google Assistant built in. Instead, it’s more of a control center specifically for Eufy’s home security gear.
You can view up to four camera feeds at once, get motion alerts, and see who’s at the door if someone rings the bell. If you’ve got Eufy’s HomeBase S380 hub (sold separately), the E10 can also use facial recognition to display who’s outside, assuming the system has seen their face before.
It’s basically a dashboard for your Eufy security setup, especially useful if you’ve got a lot of cameras or doorbells installed around your home.
The E10 has an 8-inch HD touchscreen with a 1280 x 800 resolution and a rechargeable 4,050mAh battery. Eufy says it’ll last about 24 hours on a single charge, and it comes with a USB-C charging dock and wall mount. You can either carry it around the house or mount it somewhere central like the hallway or kitchen.
Connectivity-wise, it supports both Wi-Fi 6 and LAN, so it should handle streaming video feeds pretty smoothly. There’s 8GB of internal storage, plus a microSD card slot that supports up to 512GB if you want to store more video clips locally.
One cool feature is Eufy’s AI-powered event recaps. Twice a day—once in the morning and once in the evening—the E10 can show you a stitched-together summary of what happened around your home. These “Sunrise” and “Twilight” recaps pull together clips from different cameras and highlight any recognized faces or detected packages. It’s a quick way to catch up without digging through individual alerts.
Now, here’s where the E10 might not be for everyone. First off, it only works with Eufy devices. So if you’ve got smart lights, locks, or cameras from other brands like Ring or Hue, the E10 won’t support them. That could be a dealbreaker if your smart home setup includes products from different ecosystems.
Also, many of the features it offers—live video feeds, alerts, facial recognition summaries—are already available through the Eufy app on your phone or tablet. So the big question is whether having a dedicated display for all this makes enough of a difference for your setup. It might, especially in households where multiple people want access to security info without pulling out a phone every time.
The Smart Display E10 is available now for pre-order through Eufy’s website and is expected to begin shipping on June 30. It will also be available on Amazon. The retail price is $199.99, though early buyers have spotted discount codes floating around that bring it down to about $170.
If you’ve already built your smart home around Eufy products and want a simple, dedicated display to manage everything, the E10 might fit the bill. But if you’re looking for a general-purpose smart display with entertainment features or broader compatibility, this probably isn’t the screen for you.
