ViewSonic Corp has announced the release of their latest addition to their product lineup, the LX700-4K RGB projector. Designed to transform the home entertainment experience, this projector incorporates advanced RGB laser technology, achieving full BT.2020 color gamut coverage. The ViewSonic LX700-4K RGB promises to deliver vibrant, true-to-life colors and 4K UHD resolution, potentially setting a new standard for home cinema enthusiasts and gamers alike.

The main feature of the ViewSonic LX700-4K RGB is its use of RGB laser technology, a first for ceiling-mounted home projectors. This technology enables the projector to achieve 100% coverage of the BT.2020 color gamut, one of the most advanced color standards currently available. This comprehensive color coverage translates into vibrant, lifelike colors, enhancing the overall viewing experience.

In terms of resolution, the LX700-4K RGB offers true 4K UHD resolution. This, combined with support for HDR (High Dynamic Range) and HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma), ensures crisp and detailed images with enhanced contrast, particularly in darker scenes.

ViewSonic has yet to announce the pricing for the LX700-4K RGB. For context, the LX700-4K, another model in ViewSonic’s lineup with a 1.35x optical zoom and 3,500 lumens of brightness, is currently available on Amazon for approximately $1,439.99. This pricing benchmark suggests that the ViewSonic LX700-4K RGB may be positioned as a premium offering in the home projector market.
