Wharfedale is one of the best known British makers of audiophile speakers and mini-monitors in the world. The Wharfedale Diamond series including the Diamond 8 speakers are specifically of note. Wharfedale has both powered and passive speaker systems for consumer use. Wharfedale has a full pro audio line along with a consumer line.

While out of the American market, Wharfedale, is back in 2010 being imported by Walter Scofield, the former president of Mark Levinson and Meridian. Wharfedale is sold through top dealers. They are not sold direct.
