Wolf Cinema Adds 3D Projector

Wolf Cinema expands the company's video projector options by adding the 3D capable SDC-15 model, which bears the nickname "The Cub." But don't be fooled by the name, this projector has grown up features.

The model SDC-15 - affectionately known as "The Cub" - is a fully featured home cinema projector enabled for both 2D and 3D viewing. Suitable for theater screens up to 11' wide. The SDC-15 will commence with first deliveries in July 2011, and will be released at a North American Suggested Retail Price of $15,000.00.

The SDC-15 is built around a three-chip, D-ILA light engine. D-ILA is an advanced LCOS technology from JVC. The system is complemented by video processing algorithms, 99 custom memory calibration settings, plus a precision optics package. The projector is hand-calibrated at the factory for both 2D and 3D viewing, and may be complemented by optional Wolf Cinema 3D shutter glasses and 3D signal emitters, plus the optional Wolf Cinema ProScaler for expanded connectivity.

The SDC-15 is delivered in high gloss black cabinet, and comes complete with a full system IR remote control, LAN and RS-232 system control capabilities. The SDC-15 features a dual set of HDMI 1.4 inputs, one set of component and PC inputs. Additional home theater options include two Wolf Cinema VariScope FX fixed cinema anamorphic lens assemblies that help enable full 2:35 widescreen viewing.
