XGIMI has recently introduced a diverse range of new projectors at IFA 2024, including the MoGo 3 Pro, Elfin Flip, AURA 2, and the HORIZON S Series, consisting of the HORIZON S Max and HORIZON S Pro. These products are designed to cater to different consumer segments, from portable entertainment seekers to home theater enthusiasts, with prices starting at $399. 

The projectors feature advanced technology, including high resolutions, native Netflix support, and versatile connectivity options, making them suitable for both personal and professional use.

The MoGo 3 Pro is XGIMI’s latest portable projector, featuring a compact and lightweight design. Weighing just 2.43 lbs, it is comparable in size to a coffee cup, making it an easy travel companion. It marks XGIMI’s first projector with Google TV integration, supporting native Netflix alongside other popular streaming services, which addresses a common limitation in the portable projector market where Netflix support is often missing.

This projector offers a 1080p resolution with advanced Digital Light Processing (DLP) technology, delivering clear and vibrant images. The MoGo 3 Pro includes a multi-angle base stand that doubles as a power switch, turning on the projector when rotated out of the base. Additionally, the projector includes features like auto keystone correction and intelligent obstacle avoidance, enhancing user convenience by ensuring quick and easy setup on any surface.

Priced at $449, with an optional Powerbase stand bundle for $499, the MoGo 3 Pro is positioned as a versatile choice for impromptu movie nights, business presentations, or other portable needs. The Powerbase stand includes a 20,000mAh battery, extending the projector's portability by allowing it to operate away from power outlets.

The Elfin Flip is another portable offering from XGIMI, designed for consumers seeking a budget-friendly projector without sacrificing quality. Priced at $399, it is the most affordable projector in XGIMI’s new lineup. It supports a 1080p resolution and features a built-in stand that allows for 150 degrees of tilt, making it adaptable to various projection angles.

With 400 ISO lumens of brightness and integrated Dolby Audio speakers, the Elfin Flip is suitable for small spaces, like apartments or dorm rooms. It comes equipped with XGIMI’s Intelligent Screen Adaptation technology, which automatically adjusts the projection to suit the display surface, correcting for keystone, focus, and alignment.

Despite its lower price, the Elfin Flip maintains essential features such as native Netflix support through a custom XGIMI operating system built on WebOS.

The AURA 2 is XGIMI’s latest ultra-short-throw projector, aimed at users seeking a premium home theater experience. Priced at $2,699, it is positioned as a luxury product within the new lineup. The AURA 2 employs Dual Light 2.0 technology, which combines laser and LED light sources for enhanced brightness and color accuracy, achieving up to 2300 ISO lumens. This allows the projector to deliver high-quality visuals even in well-lit rooms.

One of the AURA 2’s standout features is its ability to project large images, up to 150 inches, with a throw ratio of 0.177:1, meaning it can be placed close to the wall without compromising image size. The projector supports IMAX Enhanced and Dolby Vision certifications, offering users a cinema-like experience with accurate color reproduction and deep contrast ratios. For audio, it includes four Harman/Kardon speakers, providing a robust sound experience without the need for external speakers.

Additionally, the AURA 2 introduces several automated features aimed at improving user convenience, such as wall flatness correction, wall color adaptation, and intelligent screen alignment, which adjusts the image based on the surface it is projected onto.

The HORIZON S Series consists of the HORIZON S Pro and HORIZON S Max, which are designed for home use with a focus on delivering high-quality visuals at more accessible price points. The HORIZON S Pro is priced at $1,299, while the HORIZON S Max, the more advanced option, is priced at $1,899. Both models utilize XGIMI’s Dual Light 2.0 technology, providing a combination of tri-color laser and LED lighting for improved brightness and image quality.

The HORIZON S Max stands out with its higher brightness of 3100 ISO lumens and IMAX Enhanced certification, making it suitable for larger rooms or spaces with more ambient light. In contrast, the HORIZON S Pro offers 1800 ISO lumens and Dolby Vision support, catering to users who prioritize image quality over sheer brightness.

Both projectors feature built-in Harman/Kardon speakers, providing adequate sound for most home viewing scenarios, though users may still opt for dedicated audio systems for a more immersive experience. The projectors also include flexible stands that allow for extensive tilt and rotation, facilitating easy setup and adjustment in various home environments.

Rounding out the new lineup, XGIMI has also updated its existing portable projectors, the MoGo 2 Plus and the Halo+, with Google TV integration. The MoGo 2 Plus, available for $299, and the Halo+, available for $799, offer users enhanced connectivity options, including direct access to a wide range of streaming apps and personalized recommendations through Google TV.

These models maintain the compact, sleek design that XGIMI is known for, along with features like ISA 2.0 technology, built-in speakers, and support for Dolby Audio. The inclusion of Google TV brings a more intuitive and integrated user experience, aligning with XGIMI’s broader strategy of offering versatile, smart projection solutions.
