From Yamaha
Yamaha has introduced the SRT-700, a space-saving speaker base that rests under flat-screen TVs to provide full, lifelike sound to all viewing experiences, as well as Bluetooth connectivity to iPhone, iPad and Android devices for high-quality music streaming.

The SRT-700 is Yamaha's first compact-sized TV speaker base, designed for TVs of 42 inches and smaller, and offers the ideal audio accompaniment for rooms in which space is limited, such as bedrooms, dens and offices.

It features Yamaha's AIR SURROUND XTREME virtual surround sound technology that replicates the sound field of speakers placed around the room to immerse listeners and put them in the middle of the onscreen action. The two full-range speaker drivers, two subwoofers and two bass reflex ports built into its solid MDF wood cabinet ensure clear and spacious sound with deep, rich bass from this surprisingly small package.

"The SRT-700 is the perfect solution for those who want the same high-quality viewing experience in their bedrooms or dens as they have in their main TV rooms--complete with clear dialog and pronounced surround effects," said Bob Goedken, general manager, AV Division, Yamaha Corporation of America. "This model fits anywhere, while delivering sound that is substantially better than any flat screen TV alone can provide. Its simple set up and operation will seal the deal for many considering a bedroom or den audio upgrade."

Setup and operation of this model is simple--from its plug-and-play single cable connection to the TV to its ability to learn the commands of the TV's remote control. The SRT-700 can also be seamlessly operated with the Yamaha Home Theater Controller app for Apple iOS and Android devices.

The SRT-700's clean and sophisticated design features a sleek hairline finish on its top panel and an attractive rounded front panel that will fit unobtrusively into any space into which it is placed.
